VoiceLingua is building a nationwide U.S. network of qualified independent contractor medical interpreters for anticipated over-the-phone interpreting (OPI) and video remote interpreting (VRI) opportunities. This is prelaunch roster recruitment, not an offer of immediate assignments or guaranteed call volume.

Who we are seeking

U.S.-based professional medical interpreters with relevant healthcare interpreting experience and current professional certification applicable to their language pair. Please identify your credential, issuing organization and current status. Training completion certificates should be listed separately from professional certification.

Tell us your language pairs, OPI/VRI experience, availability and time zone. Remote work requires reliable internet, suitable audio equipment and a private professional workspace.

Contractor rates

USD $0.40–$0.60 per interpreted minute (40–60 cents), depending on language, credentials, experience and assignment requirements. Payment is for active interpreting time; waiting time and minimum hours are not guaranteed. Final terms are agreed before assignments. Applying does not guarantee acceptance, work or income.
